Er galt als einer der größten Briten überhaupt. Der 2,33m große britische Schauspieler und Ex-Basketball-Profie Neil Fingleton ist im Alter von nur 36 Jahren an Herzversagen gestorben.

Bekannt war Fingleton aus der Serie “Game of Thromes”, in der er den Riesen ‘Mag the Mighty’spielte. Er hatte auch bei “X Men” mitgemacht, er hatte eine Rolle als ‘The Fisher King’ bei der BBC Reihe “Doctor Who”.

In den sozialen Medien trauen viele um den Star.

Fingleton war im englischen Durham geboren. Mit 16 ging er in die USA, um Basketball zu spielen. Er bekam ein Stipendium für ein Basketball College in North Carolina. Fingleton spielte auch in China, England, Italien, Spanien und Griechenland, bevor er sich verletzungsbedingt aus dem Profibasketball zurückzog.

2007 stand er mit seinen 2,33m im Guinness Buch der Rekorde als der größte Brite.
Neil Fingleton hatte auch eine Schuh- und Kleidermarke für Männer, die größer sind als 1,93m.
