WERBUNGNach mehreren Pannen der Sojus-Trägerrakete ist die italienische Astronautin Samantha Cristoforetti nach sechs Monaten im All wieder wohlbehalten von der ISS auf die Erde zurückgekehrt.
AstroSam, wie sie auch genannt wird, hat einen internationalen Rekord gebrochen: Mit ihren 200 Tagen im All ist die ESA-Astronautin die Frau, die die längste Zeit im Weltraum verbracht hat.
Im Internet ist die 38-jährige Kampfpilotin schon seit einer Weile ein Star – sie hat mehr als eine halbe Million Follower auf Twitter, vor allem weil sie dort viele atemberaubende Fotos von der Raumstation aus aufgenommene Fotos veröffentlicht hat.

Dank der italienischen Astronautin konnten die Erdbewohner auf Videos miterleben, wie auf der ISS Haare geschnitten werden, wie im All gekocht und gegessen wird und wie sie auf der ISS Sport treibt.
WERBUNGSamantha Cristoforetti hat in Bozen, Pozzuoli, München, Toulouse und Moskau studiert. AstroSam spricht neben Italienisch Englisch, Deutsch, Französisch und Russisch und interessiert sich für Chinesisch. An Bord der ISS hat sie u.a; biologische Experimente zur Genetik mit Ameisen und Fruchtfliegen durchgeführt.
Ihre Freizeit verbringt die Astronautin mit Reisen, Wandern, Yoga, Lesen und Höhlenforschung.
